2013 Wish List.. Gifts that make you want to create something..

in Inspiration on 28/12/12

Santa and my husband forgot a few items..  For some strange reason the 5 pieces on my wish list didn’t make it under the tree this year.  I thought I would attach the list to my blog,  in hopes that my husband decides to get me a few for Valentine’s Day!

Each one is special in its own way.  Here is a breakdown of the 5 on my list:

1. Sofia 2 Embroidery Machine

I love this machine!  It is the perfect entry level sewing and embroidery machine.  Compact in size, it can travel anywhere. It has 70 built in embroidery designs and 168 decorative stitches.  The easy-to-read LCD touch screen makes it easy to quickly access the machine’s settings, designs and editing tools.  A USB port makes it easy to download embroidery designs to the machine faster.  Hello husband,  you really need to buy me this machine!

2. Simplicity Side Winder

I get tired of winding bobbins.. This one is cheap and easy.. The side winder would make my bobbin winding life fast and easy.  It is a portable bobbin winding machine – easy to transport to class and always have bobbins on hand.  Simplicity even makes a delux version..

3. Arrow Cabinets Sewing Chair

Love this chair – it reminds me of my childhood.   My Mom had a a similar sewing chair and she kept all her sewing stuff underneath. I used to love to rummage through it and see her funky notions and supplies.  I don’t usually like curves and scallops, but the the 4004 version is pretty great. I especially like the green one.

4. Cricut Mini

I am not much of a paper crafter, but this machine makes me salivate! I need a Cricut for all the monogramming projects I plan to do.. I decided on the Cricut mini. Please Cricut lord, send me one of these?

5. Silhouette America

I will take the Cameo please! These machines are awesome – like a home printer, it plugs into your computer with a simple USB cable. However, instead of printing it uses a small blade to cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, FABRIC and more up to 12″ wide and 10 feet long.  Imagine all the projects that you could make with one of these..?
