July Round Up

Hello August!

August always makes me a little sad.. It means summer is ending and fall is near. While I love the fall season, summer is full of adventure and play and fall means back to work and school..

Enough said. We still have 30 days of fun ahead of us!  I had an interesting July. We went home to Canada for 10 days. I was back traveling to Birmingham, AL 2 days after my return. I am still dizzy from the workload that keeps piling up. Unfortunately, my sewing took an unexpected hit and my machine has been gathering dust.

Here are my highlights for the month:

Sewing Perfect Boxed Corners.. I’ve wanted to share these super duper easy steps for quite some time. I hope this helps all of you!

Beach Bag with Cord Straps.. This is an EASY beach bag that I shared over at Momtastic. I loved figuring out the tutorial and adding the Dritz eyelets! Buy a pack of the eyelets, you’ll be amazed at how easy they are to use.

Row By Row Experience.. Get local! I loved learning about The Row by Row Experience. If you have a chance, check out the their website and hit a few quilting stores in your area.

Well, that’s it today. I’m off to Salt Lake City next week, but plan to get some much needed sewing in over the weekend and start sharing tutorials again.
