I’m glad we are now into the month of November. While I had a blast sewing during October, I am truly sick of all things Halloween. I’m ready to put the color orange to bed and this color will be ignored for the next 9 months. Developing and sewing my toddler’s Luke Skywalker costume was pure enjoyment. I can’t believe it, but he got to wear it 4 times! So for all the time an energy I put into making it, it was well worth it. The high fives I received from the Dads on Halloween night made my day. And I’m even ok with the gooey chocolate stain on the white flak vest.
I had a most welcome package waiting for me when we got home from Trick or Treating. A package loaded with fabric that I ordered from the Fat Quarter Shop. Smile. Now, it’s on to sewing for Thanksgiving… I have one big project in mind, but am still brewing the others. What are you making?
Until next week. Happy Sewing.

I don’t have a sewing project for myself waiting in the wings, but I just bought a kids’ Singer sewing machine for $30 for my daughter for Christmas. She is going to freak. Out.
