Bella Skill Builder Quilt Along

I’m excited to help kick off the Bella Skill Builder quilt along today..

Have you wanted to take part in a quilt along? Well, you’ve stumbled upon the right place.  The Fat Quarter Shop is running a 10 month long quilt along [try and say that 3 times in a row] called the Bella Skill Builder. A new block will be released on the first of each month and the quilt along runs through November 2017.  There are 9 blocks in total and they are all free!  You have plenty of time to catch up before the next block is released next month.

Today is the Kaleidoscope block and there are 3 blocks to make. I have 2 little boys, so I decided to go with a modern-boyish color scheme. The colors used are blue chill and honeydew . I’m excited to see how my quilt unfolds over the next 10 months.

You will need 8 different Bella Solids. Head over to The Fat Quarter Shop to shop for your material. Their blog, called the Jolly Jabber has the free PDF blocks. Feel intimidated? They are offering lots of support and instructions. They even have videos, plus a super handy FAQ page.
