Have you heard of Wonder Clips? Made by Clover – they are the best kept secret around! I heard about them a few months ago and have fallen in LOVE!! When pins just won’t work, try a few of these little guys..
I love sewing with clear vinyl and often use double fold bias tape to cover the edges. While the finished product looks great, the bias tape can be a real pain in the butt to sew on. Wonder clips work like a dream and help with the vinyl and pesky bias tape. One note of caution with the clips and vinyl – only clip in the seam allowances. The clips leave a small indentation in the vinyl. As long as you clip within the seam allowances the vinyl is ok.
Do you have trouble sewing on your binding? When sewing on binding, I often find myself cursing under my breath and questioning why I chose to make the “stupid” project in the first place. Wonder Clips hold the binding in place while you stitch in the ditch.
A few weeks ago I was taking a cosmetic bag class at my local quilting and sewing store. It had multiple zippers and I needed each zipper to lay flat. Pins just wouldn’t work and a fellow classmate advised to try using “Wonder Clips”.. Wonder Clips.. What? The clips held each zipper and fabric in perfect alignment. Thank you – finding out about the clips was my lucky day!
In a short time frame, these are just few benefits I have found. I’m sure there are more to come.
Fun stuff, right? Well you still have time to add these to your wish list. They make a great stocking stuffer!
Happy Holidays!

I just love these and bought a bunch only to have my hubby discover them too for his projects 🙁 Looks like I’ll just have to get more 🙂 I use them for everything, especially binding and no longer get constantly pricked by pins!

Lol. That’s awesome. I’ll have to keep these away from my husband! He loves to make things as well.

Wow. I’m going to check these out. Do they have different sizes?

HI Mandy, yews. I have seen 2 sizes. mine are the small ones. I would suggest starting with the small ones first. But it also depends on your projects. I love these!
