This is a great everyday baby towel and is also perfect for the pool or beach! Sew it up in a colorful terry towel and you have something fun for the summer. You can always keep the Terry towel white and have a classic hooded towel for the new baby. Link for the tutorial.
Basic Materials needed:
- Terry Towel
- Cotton Fabric for the Binding
- Sewing supplies
- Iron and Ironing Board
This is cute and stylish for the beach, it fits a rolled up towel, sunscreen and a few essentials. You can always add a simple interior pocket to hold your smaller important stuff like keys, chapstick or your phone. Link for the tutorial.

This pouch is nice, big and an all time favorite in my house. As a family, this pouch is tried, tested and true. We have used for years. It is great for holding sunscreen, your phone, keys and other goodies. We now use it to hold our cutlery when we go camping. A side note – the metal zipper can get “hot” in the sun.
