i love these! And then in your “you might also like” teasers you gave me exactly what I’ve been looking for with your colorful vinyl pouches — my husband flies with a ziplock toiletry bag for carry-on, and it’s disgusting. Might just surprise him with a home-sewn one! Thanks!

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by. I would try making the colorful vinyl pouches first. Check JoAnn fabrics for clear vinyl and give the different gauges a feel at the store. You will love the pouch after you’ve completed it – it is super handy!

      HI Diane,

Thanks for the comment. I love clear vinyl and have lots of projects. These 2 might be the easiest options:

      https://haberdasheryfun.com/diy-projects/sew-clear-vinyl-wallets
      — you can use store bought bias tape and instead of the snaps use velcro

      https://haberdasheryfun.com/diy-projects/diy-make-a-vinyl-and-fabric-cosmetic-pouch
      — You can also use store bought bias tape
      — in the next few weeks, I will have a pattern pack for this pouch shape. I can email you when it is available.

      Hope this helps
      Marni

My sweet boy Arlo turns 7 this week. He is always by my side and has been my shadow since the day he was born❤️ . He is often in my studio, patiently waiting, photobombing a tutorial or playing w/ my supplies.

Do you block print or make your own designs? What would you like to create with your patterns or prints? Have anything in mind?
